It's certainly left me with food for thought anyway!Clarina1985https://www.blogger.com/profile/16702083166779949852noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3437949099735865174.post-43079107218030331632016-03-21T21:22:54.836+00:002016-03-21T21:22:54.836+00:00Oh how this resonates for me too at the moment! I love the imagery though, that at the end of the day when everything superfluous has burned or whirled away, there's just you and God. Maybe sometimes it takes the whirlwind and the earthquake to help us see what needs to go by the board in the quest for our simplicity? I don't know, I think we're all always trying to figure it out along the way - but I will say I'm really enjoying that it's the Easter holidays!!Carie @ Space for the Butterflieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13060566680311122115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3437949099735865174.post-57072401190800376042016-03-21T08:17:20.149+00:002016-03-21T08:17:20.149+00:00Gosh I can relate to this so much Claire and actua...Gosh I can relate to this so much Claire and actually wrote a post last week on 'saying 'no' because it is a lesson that my daughter is also learning at the moment. Breathe in the air and take a deep breath. God is still there. Remember that you can do all of those wonderful things during the school holidays. Sometimes term time is a whirlwind, we've learnt to just chill in the holidays and it makes all the difference. Take care. x Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02610843552921892203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3437949099735865174.post-9159055289776187812016-03-21T07:17:01.310+00:002016-03-21T07:17:01.310+00:00God sets out our priorities for us in the Bible an...God sets out our priorities for us in the Bible and gives us our framework for saying no to things. <br />Firstly our relationship with God is our biggest priority. Next our marriage. Then our children. After that church and ministry. Then our every day work. Getting these things in the right order and learning to prioritise and say no will keep you from the whirlwind and feeling like you are not fulfilling your roles as wife and mother. Hope that helps xKay Louise Mumfordnoreply@blogger.com
