The journey!

We made it...

But not without an explosive nappy, a lost shoe, a wailing one-year-old and passing a lot of sheep. We left at 9.30 and drove through the flag-lined gates of Pontins at 4pm... Our journey went just about as smoothly as a journey with a one year old and a 5 week old can go... And one young lady was particularly pleased with our lunchtime visit to Burger King...

This evening we have unpacked an extortionate amount of luggage (our car resembled Mary Poppin's bag earlier) and settled in amongst the 3000 others who have descended upon this little corner of Wales. I am SO excited to see what God will teach us this week, and looking forward to hanging out with the hundred or so folk who have travelled together from our church.

This evening I joined a crowd of around 1000 in the Great Marquee, singing amazing songs and being reminded of the great hope we have in Jesus. Doesn't get better than that.

  1. Aw Ava is so cute. Hope you will have a Brilliant time and I hope you can cope with two tiny ones.

  2. Burger King has been made for times like these.
