Pause for thought...

This article, first published in the Pierce County Tribune in 1959, has gone viral over the past few months...

What do you think? A necessary and timely call for our teenagers to grow up? Or too harsh? Do we mollycoddle our teenagers in Britain to the point where they have no drive, ambition or sense of responsibility??

I wish I'd had this when I was a teacher... Would have been a fab discussion topic and a good challenge for them!

  1. Clara, you know exactly what I would be interested in - I post on this same article a few months back! Here is my post and hence, my thoughts.... What a great article!

    1. Great minds think alike!! Isn't it fab?! Thanks for linking up your post... Totally with you on all that you said!

  2. As relevant today as then!

  3. What a fab article! Teens should have some down time, but they should also help out a bit more. If a teen wants to come and wash my windows, they would be very welcome! Thanks for linking up to Britmums teen and tween round-up.

I love reading your comments! Thanks for stopping by!
