The day all her "Heidi" dreams came true...

This is one little girl who was over-the-moon happy playing amongst the goats yesterday. I have never seen her so excited. She ran around chasing them, patting them, hugging them and calling them all by name (or at least the names of the goats in the book! Baerli, Schwaenli, Schnucki, Schneehoeppli and Distelfink!) All her "Heidi" make-believe games came true in one morning!

So I'm breaking my rule, and sharing more than one photo, of one happy little girly!

  1. What a happy little girl she looks - I love goats too; quite fancy one in the back garden. And now I have another book to add to our bedtime reading (Heidi!) x

  2. Oh my where is she? Those goats are adorable and look like they have miles to roam in. I thought ours had a big field! You could never choose just one photo when you have three as perfect as these. I wonder if they would jump up as ours do if Heidi had a bucket of food? Thank you for popping over and sharing on Country Kids.

  4. Gorgeous! So jealous, Heidi was my absolute favourite book as a child and I loved every second of my 6 day holiday in Switzerland when I was 10 :')
