We explored an autumn feely bag... I filled up a little bag with autumnal items - conkers, leaves, fir cones, a pear, mini pumkins. Ava had great fun trying to guess what the items were as she felt them in her little hands... we still need to work on our description skills, though!
After we'd done that, Ava used the items to help her draw a picture of all the autumn things she could thing of, using autumn colours... She came up with some of her own ideas as well like "courgettes" and "carrots"... (no idea where they came from - guess she was going along the vegetable theme!)
We even enjoyed an autumn feast with fruit punch and autumn fruit salad accompanied by an autumn scented candle (which was sadly still unlit when I grabbed this photo!)
So what autumn activities have you been up to this week?
