"I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet, simple
things of life which are the real ones after all"
things of life which are the real ones after all"
- Laura Ingalls Wilder -
Bare feet run on green grass...
Little girls giggle as they pick dandelion heads and imagine themselves on prairie lands...
Roles are handed out: "You're Laura, I'm Mary" - and in that instant, storybooks come to life...
Busy little girls living life as pioneers...
Churning butter...
These little girls of mine are loving "Little House on the Prairie" life...
And I am loving sharing their imaginary life with them!
Just lovely! So true - the stripped back, simple things of life, are the best 😀
ReplyDeleteBeautiful girls and how great they have a lovely garden to play in. Wonder will it be today your family increase?😀
ReplyDeleteAww that's so sweet- I used to play Little House with my sister and we've been reading the books too so now it's my girls' turn to act it out. Does this mean Heidi and Ava are hoping for a baby Carrie?
ReplyDeleteOh Claire, this is just too cute and exactly the reason why I gave you my vote in Best Nursery Blog. Your girls are gorgeous and I love all the wonderful opportunities you give them. What cuties. x
