One month of our Annika Beth!
One month of that gorgeous newborn scent, of those deep blue eyes, of nightly wake up calls at 3am. One month of tiny fingers and tiny toes, of bedtime lullabies and big sibling cuddles.
She's a little gem. My recovery has been hard, and disappointing and frustrating. But Annika is nothing but sunshine and wonder. Those big blue eyes taking the world in... everything is new and fascinating. She is fixing and following us now, she quietens at the sound of singing and she copes wonderfully well with being constantly passed around her big siblings.
Oh Annika - how glad we are that you are here!
