Day 8:Sachertorte and Christmas markets!

Today Ava and I have had a typically Austrian day... we had a relaxing morning with Nicole and then went for lunch at Corinna's house... it was lovely to catch up with friends!

Ava behaved beautifully... 

...while Corinna and I enjoyed Sachertorte (typical Austrian chocolate cake - AMAZING!) 

yum!

We wrapped Ava up nice and warm and then headed into the Altstadt for the Weihnachtsmarkt!

 Ava fell asleep while we moseyed around the stalls - lots of homemade, traditional christmas goodies (wood, felt, metal, glass, wax - you name it, it was there!!!)

Of course we had to stop off for some Gluhwein (mulled wine!) although Laura and I had Kinderpunsch (Children's punch!)

Ava had snuggles with Corinna


Before coming home to get ready for bed!
