Apple Picking...

One of my favourite things about our garden is our big ol' apple tree. The last couple of years it's been a little on the lazy side... We've been lucky if we've picked off a handful of decent apples. But this year, its come good. They're literally weighing down the branches...

Autumn is absolutely, without a shadow of a doubt, hands down my favourite season, and I love to rustle up some yummy apple crumbles, apple pies and apple turnovers with our own home-grown apples. So last weekend we did a bit of apple picking...

One little lady was very excited about helping out...

For the most part, she stood on the ground and placed the picked apples carefully in her bucket...

Check out this giant one we picked!

And there was sheer excitement when she was, with a bit of help, allowed to climb the ladder and pick an apple for herself...
