When Savouring the Season gets tough... Savouring the Season Linky Party 33

Trying to savour up every morsel of every season is what this linky's all about - whether its seasonal recipes, enjoying the changing scenes of nature, getting creative, poetic or artistic... its all about enjoying all the different delights of the changing seasons.

Sometimes that gets tricky.

I had my post for today all planned. I did all my pots yesterday, and the garden was looking lovely. I thought, "Fabulous! I'll take some pretty pictures of our summer garden and post them tomorrow and be all in Summer mode" So the plan was to get the girls to bed, and then get outside in the gorgeous spring sunshine and get snap happy.

Only then the thunderstorm arrived.

Which was, in fairness, very exciting for two little girls snuggled up in Mama and Papa's bed in their PJs ready for a bible story and prayers, but did not work with my brilliant-blog-post-for-tomorrow plan.

So I'm going to have to leave you imagining petunias and marigolds and delightful pops of country colour - wildflower style - while I wait for the sunshine with my camera in hand. And hopefully have them ready for you next week.

Honestly.

Who'd live in England?

So this week I'm relying on YOU to fill me up with lovely seasonal savourments... cos right now, I'm not loving this season so very much!

Please stop by a couple of other entries and leave a comment, and grab the badge below so we can all get linky happy!

Until next week!!

  3. Well I think every season has its changeable weather conditions. You never know what's coming from one minute to the next, but then that's one of the reasons I like living here, variety.
