Our usual, annual Norwegian National Day celebrations!
There's always red, white and blue everywhere... meatballs and gravy for tea, and a fair amount of noise from the kiddos!
And this year was no different! The girls went proudly into school wearing their rosettes and their fabulous teachers encouraged them to share all about their Norwegian heritage and did some fabulous learning with it! There are so many side effect blessings of raising our children multilingual that we never considered before taking the plunge and jumping into trilingualism, but this rich variety of culture is certainly one of them!
And everyone knows I'll take any reason to throw a little party!
