First Ice-cream: Savouring the Season Linky Party 31

Yesterday we had a garden day. After a week of pretty grim weather, it was nice to get out into the glorious sunshine... We were so in "summer" mode, that when Papa arrived home, perfectly timed with the accompaniment of the ice-cream van, two little ladies got a special treat...

Can you guess??!


This face was NOT too happy that said ice-cream was finished!

For Ava, it was the first ice-cream of the year...


For Heidi, it was the first ice-cream cone ever!



It went down a treat!


It's not summer yet, but this late spring sunshine is just lovely!

We are well and truly Savouring the Season!

    Thanks so much Claire for the reminder to link up. There's nothing like an Egg hunt and some family time to savour the spring season. And as we approach May I can't wait for the weather to warm up even more :) Beautiful ice cream pics btw :)

    How adorable! First ice-cream usually goes down well. (having said that J didn't like ice-cream as a baby - it was too 'cold' - he only got into eating icecream aged 5 or 6). xxx
