Me and Mine {July}

A month of sunshine and straw hats.

First smiles and Last days.

Sports Days and Big Schools

Adjusting and Appointments.

For each of our children, this month has held milestones. Ava has finished at Nursery, and is getting ready for the adventure of school, Heidi had a major heart appointment at which we had some reassuring news, and Jonas? Well he's just achieving milestones every day.

For Dave and I, this month marked our seven year wedding anniversary.

This July has been a good one. Full to the brim of good memories and thankfulness. But alongside those golden moments has come fearful anticipation. But that is life... a rollercoaster of ordinary every days, and the occasional milestone moment - key moments in which you realise you're on the cusp of something you won't see repeated. On the edge of a path which will take you somewhere you haven't been before.

Life IS a journey... always moving, always changing, always unexpected. And that is why at the end of another month, I am thankful that in the midst of all the changes we have ahead, our little family clings to someone who is unchanging, steadfast and certain. Our Heavenly Father stays the same.

It's been a lovely little July. And its Him we trust as we head into the rest of this year.

So here we are; Me and Mine in July... after a lovely day out at The Eden Project in Cornwall, making the most of our summer holidays together.
