Christmas tree memories... its one of my favourite traditions... decorating the tree with the children - and year by year we are able to leave the decorating increasingly over to them. Each year, it becomes less bottom heavy as our little girls grow up, and the boys (in reality Jonas! Elias was asleep!) keep the bottom half well covered too!

I'm not going to lie - of course I do a bit of tinkering afterwards, of spreading things out and evening it up... but for the most part, they have the tree decorating thing nailed now!
Such a blessing to be able to put our tree back up in our own home this year - last year this room homed the entirety of our downstairs furniture covered in dust sheets while the back of the house had been raised to the ground!
And that little tree is always a Christmas reminder of the tree that Jesus came for - the one on Calvary...
So thankful for every tradition and reminder of the real reason for the season.
