That's why I was SO excited when Anna, over at Imagination Tree (her blog is well worth checking out by the way), introduced the idea of Kindness Elves; little elves who come up with ideas for kind things we can do, and notice the kind things the children have done!
So on Sunday morning, when the girls headed downstairs, Nico and Nati had arrived! Ava has SO loved coming downstairs to find them every morning, and has loved all the little challenges they have set her...
Sunday: climbing the candlestick!
Monday: ready for some baking!
Good morning! Your card was SO lovely! Today we are baking cookies for baby Harry's family... Want to help???
Tuesday: attempting to break into the larder
The cookies were really delicious! Thank you! Did you know there are lots of people in the world who don't have enough to eat? Let's go shopping and get some food for Food Bank!
Wednesday: Sitting on a bunch of Mama's flowers!
Thursday: Reading a brand new book
Hi Ava and Heidi! We've got a new book and would like to share it with you... Could you do some nice sharing today too?
Friday: ready to make Nikolaus sacks!
Hello! We were so impressed with how kind you were to your friends yesterday... And look! Nikolaus has come!! Lets make some little Nikolaus sacks to give to your friends!
As you can see, we've had a lot of fun! You're welcome to join in!
What a beautiful concept, i am doing elf on the shelf however not rigidly sticking to the whole concept xx
