If you live anywhere near a pick-your-own farm, chances are they'll have a pumpkin patch. And if they do, its an autumn must on your bucket list.
What toddler doesn't scream with delight at this sight?!
There is something utterly delight about walking into a patch of orange... pumpkin upon pumpkin upon pumpkin...
And searching out the perfect one to take home...
Of course, you can't miss the opportunity for an autumnal photo shoot...
And of course every trip to the pumpkin patch is educational...
Did you know pumpkins are heavy??
And their stalks are prickly??
And they make great little seats...
The lessons you learn from a pumpkin patch!
We wandered back, via the coffee shop... two little girls delighted at their pumpkin purchases and two older girls quite happy at the prospect of a cup of tea and a cheese scone... (thanks Mum!)
A lovely autumnal day out for everyone involved!
