One Week to go... My Britmums Live debut!

This time next week, I will be putting my brave face on... because I will be heading to Britmums Live... My first blogging conference. An opportunity to meet some amazing bloggers who I am so excited to finally meet, and a chance to catch up with some truly lovely bloggers who I met at the Britmums Christmas do last November.

The lovely Jess from Catch a Single Thought will be staying with us for the weekend, so I have the added bonus of not having to enter a room of over 500 bloggers unnaccompanied.

Oh help!

So why am I going? Because this little space of internet has become so much more than a sporadic space to put my thoughts. This blog has journeyed with me through some of the best experiences of my life, and through the most deep, awful valley. It has grown in a way I never expected and it is now like a most beloved friend. I love to write. I love to record the crazy, the special, the hard and the hectic moments of this life. I love to read your comments. I love the friends I have made through it. I have cherished and valued the support and encouragement of each of my readers.

And so I want to grow in this... I want to learn, I want to improve my writing... and my photography... and design. All of this, and more, this conference offers...

So here we go... a little "here's me"... and if you see me next weekend, please come and say hello!! I'd love to meet you!

Anyone else have trouble finding photos in which they don't have children clambering over them?!

Is this your first blogging conference?
Yes, this is my first conference... I went to the Britmums Christmas Do, but aside from that, I have never been to a blogging event before... eeek!

Are you attending both days?
Absolutely - I intend to make the most of every minute!

What are you most looking forward to at BritMums Live 2014?
Catching up with friends I made at Christmas... meeting other bloggers who I've got to know face to face for the first time... learning about prettying up my blog from the lovely Lucy ... the BiBs awards and supporting some incredible bloggers who deserve awards! I'm looking forward to improving my photography with Julia from Boggio Studios and just getting my head in a different space from toddlers. I LOVE my toddler-filled life, but sometimes its nice to stretch my mind in other ways too!

What are you wearing? I have NO idea... which is so me... I have not given two seconds of thought to this yet. Probably should start thinking about it soon...!

What do you hope to gain from BritMums Live 2014? I hope to make lots of new friends, and I hope to learn lots that will help me improve my blogging skills!
