Derbyshire Tales // Our Half Term Holiday

Well, that was the quickest half term break in the history of the world... Anyone else feeling like it went in a flash?! I cannot believe that this morning we will be back to the school routine... Back to early starts, branflakes for breakfast and Monday cleaning day! One week is just not long enough!

But it was a lovely one... After a jam-packed weekend, we packed our little brood up in the car and headed north to the Midlands... Back to beautiful Derbyshire... One of our favourite haunts, and now well and truly a favourite with our children too.

It was a week of icey-cold sunshine, catching up with friends, the great outdoors, time-travelling, history-living, giggles and smiles and croissants for breakfast.

It was all-too-short, but sweet... And we returned home with a suitcase full of memories, and a car-full of sleeping children...

A few captures from our favourite moments...

  1. Oh wow what a jam packed half term for you all. It sounds like it was busy and lots of fun, the girls look so cute in their historical outfits. Half term just goes so quick, I was so sad for mads to go back to school today. x

  2. Oh those are two of the cutest maids that ever graced a stately home ! What a wonderful holiday, even if it did go at light speed (as did ours!)
